Air conditioner

Hi i got a problem turn on my air conditioner and starting a plastic burning odor , already check the blower and blower resistor, look some melted metal on it , need sugestiones

What sort of car is this? melted metal on what? Where is the odor coming from? What if you just turn the fan on, no AC?

Welcome to the site, your Profile shows a 2011 2.2 , so it’s an HHR . Melted plastic is much more likely, could be the blower motor has overheated, the cabin air filter might be clogged up!
