Just bought a 2006 HHR in Sept. On the way home from work started hearing a buzzing noise. When I opened the hood discovered air filter housing had com loose from its grommets. I reinstalled housing but still hear noise at anything over 25 mph. Anyone else run into this problem and how to fix it.

Just guessing here but check the housing bracket and see if it's broken. Here's a link to 1 thread that shows the part and how the owner fixed his.

Also check the Oil fill pipe where it comes thru the air cleaner housing.
On one of my earlier HHR's my GM dealer found the bracket bent and that allowed the
Fill pipe to slightly touch the housing.
I later put on a new bracket and that cured it.
