Question All '06-'08 hhr owners w/heated seats & remote start - please help

Ok, if you havean 2006-2008 HHR with heated seats 7 Remote start, this question is for you.

When you remote start your vehicle, does your heated seats come on automatically when your rear defroster comes on? Please let me know. If this is not the case, I will be getting this done! Nothing like having leather seats in your car, and your remote start your car and the car is warmed up, but your seats are freezing! Please let me know. Thanks.

They do not come on, but a nice touch would have been if they did. The car already comes with a temp sensor to read outside ambient temp. How hard would have it been to write the software for the remote start to activate the drivers seat below a certain temp (ie 32 F)?

I'd rather them turn the blower on if it's not!!! My mom's Impala did that, but the HHR and her newer G6 both don't. You have to leave the blower turned up, and most of the time when you get out of the car it's turned down..

Oh well!

LOL ...It takes me a good month to get into the habit to turn the temp and fan up when I get out of the car once the cold weather starts. I've been in the zone for a good month now this year thou ...its been cold up here since middle of October
