Question Anti Stubby

i think i would like a longer antenna - to improve the reception. i am not oppposed to stubbies - i think they are cool -. but why be like everyone else? can anyone recomend an antenna that will increase my reception. i like my fm . i like listening to the different announcers in different cities while i'm doing my 270 mile a day route- somedays it almost 500 miles , when i do day and night. xm and cds have no announcers to annoy and keep me awake.

Question Xm Radio

i forgot that xm has talk stations , also the comedy channel. are there any big xm fans out there with feedback? even if i try xm , i would still like to get better fm. are there any stubbies that somehow get better reception?

When I take a trip, I listen to 46-Top Tracks. It's classic rock and great for keeping you awake. I also like ESPN radio for something different. But, with a 6-CD changer and an MP3 player full of tunes, I don't get around to XM very often.

I think that the stock antenna will give you the best in and around durham north carolina. There are a lot of high hills that block FM & AM sig.

I have a stubby that has the ability to extend to twice it's length. Does help.
