OK here's an update why two color retainers and pins.
I ordered yellow and green combo. There are 4 on the door panel. 2 on the door panel facing the hinge and the 2 on the bottom of the panel, all in a row.
At the back of the panel is 3 black and white.
The shoulder that the pin has are two different diameters that lock into the panel.
The black pin is smaller than the green. Green pin will not fit where the black one goes, it's to big.
The retainer looks to work no matter it's location. I had to use two yellow where a white one went and the panel locked in.

I didn't remember that, I know it was jacked up in rear, cool back then..

And I think I saw something recently that Peggy Lipton (Julie) passed away..Aug 30, 1946 - May 11, 2019 (age 72)
