Any interest in a CORVETTE disc brake conversion

OK, guys, I will introduce myself since I am new here. I have been a die hard FORD fan for years. Don't click out yet! I bought a 2006 HHT LT brand new and now have 30K miles on it. I bought it because it rode good and handled good and ran like the wind! I really love that little car. Ford has nothing that comes close to it. Now, with 30k miles on the car, the brake rotors are starting to vibrate the pedal a bit. I have heard they have issues with that, even though the brakes are quite adequate. Does your do that?
Now, the next step... I manufacture disc brake conversions for classic Mustangs to install the 13" cobra brakes from 94-04 Cobra and also 05-09 Mustang GT. I got to looking at the HHR and thought...WHY NOT PUT CORVETTE BRAKES ON THIS THING? Heck, it already has 17" wheels! So I commenced to discomboomerating the front end and it sure looks like a CORVETTE 13" brake conversion would be a piece of cake. So, my question is, would anyone have interest in something like that if it came on the market?

Let me have your comments. has someone already done this? I'll just buy theirs if it exists already... I think an HHR that already runs like a scalded ape would be really cool if it could also STOP ON A DIME AND GIVE NINE CENTS CHANGE!

The Rotor warping on the HHR is no secret. There's a TSB out on it and should be covered should you choose to go that route.

With the Conversion question, I'm thinking a few of our SS jockeys would be at least Mildly interested in that at the very least

I think a vendor that normally specializes in Cobalt/G5/Ion systems has such a conversion out there already. TCE, one of the supporting vendors of this site, has a couple of Wilwood conversion kits on the market as well.

What I'd like to see is a rear disc conversion that you don't have to swap out the rear axle for.

While there are many members here who have reported brake vibration and pulsation, there are many who have not. I am one of those members who has almost 60k on an early '06 with no problems, so that leads me to believe that improper lug torquing and poor braking skills and maintenance are more likely the cause of the issues.

I must have missed the TSB for warped rotors, Ill have to do a search. Dont need it yet, but probably will at some point.
I use "I" gear (auto trans) quite a bit for engine braking. Sometimes it feels like the warping is starting, but after a while it fades away.

I'm another that hasn't had a problem with the warped rotors. I've got 13000+ on the bomber and The brakes are still touchy.

I was just starting to get some mild vibes from the brakes at 32K on Dory (06 2LT), and although the Service Manager said it was normal for it to be happening at that mileage, the TSB was applied anyhow.

the brakes would look pretty wild on the HHR but personally for the price to do it, it would be over doing it.

My conversion is really easy. Lock up the HHR and hop in the 82 Vette. No muss no fuss
