I did mine, I was renting office space from a car dealership so I was able to use the lift and some of the guys were there w/ me but it only took a short time

I bought mine from etrailer, also and install myself. Having lift is a big help, not real hard, healps to have a helper, extra hands. Mr Bill described the install, just as I remember it!!!!

I for one would love to see some close ups of the hitch. I am so missing my truck and at times need someway to move stuff bigger than I can get in the back of the HHR. ( Though I have gotten 8 ft. 2x4s with the back closed in there)

boy I hear ya about missing the truck, I miss mine big time but I love driving the HHR....

I'm in the middle of a project at home and I loaded a lot of wood into the HHR without a problem (I even took pix, and I'll show them once the project is completed...so stay tuned)

well if I don't forget I'll take photos of the trailer hitch install I will be doing shortly...

I installed a hidden hitch, basicly the same hitch but the reciever sits lower.
