Lightbulb Auto to S

Does anyone know what could be involved to change the transmission from auto to stick?
Feasible?
affordable?
And who can do it?

Well first, the tranny. Probably a new BCM (maybe the old could be reprogrammed..), and computer. Dealership might be the only place to have it done due to the components involved. Would be cheaper IMO to just look for a stick model. I would imagine this swap in a late model vehicle has a lot of things involved.

I agree that it would be easier to get a stick car, rather than the expense and hassle of the conversion. If it was an older (ie no longer in production) it may be something that you would want done. All too easy to buy a new or used HHR with the factory manual transmission.
