Battery on 2008

Here's the problem. If you disconnect the battery there is no way to open the trunk to reconnect it. You need to attach a battery pack to the terminal next to the fuse box under the hood, then use the power door locks to unlock the trunk then go to the back of the car and open it

What I am doing is running a cable from the negative battery to a switch then the other side to the same ground bolt the factory cable is attached to. Then I will mount the switch on the panel next to the passenger side window.
