Best non-ss hhr's?

I just saw a gold hhr with roof racks, premium "flat" spoke "chrome" wheels, and even had the factory mud flaps! (Mud flaps are probably the rarest item I see on hhr's (I actually found a set at the junk yard so I feel special lol) I didn't check for the side steps/running boards but I'm pretty sure it had them.

besides that, I think orange and the blue/green color are the best ones.

What are the best hhr's in your opinion? Obviously ss is best but other than those!

I like my 2011 2LT but I really liked Oldblue, a 2007 2.2 LS automatic. It was my first HHR and I for over it often!

I was thinking the same thing the other day. I think a 2LT would be great for me with the larger but non-turbo engine, then I’d upgrade the suspension to near SS level. I’m cool with my current LS but I am starting to miss some of the goodies I have in my other cars, especially a sunroof and heated seats now that it’s cold out.

How about a 2LT with an SS rear beam and TTR sway bar.
I tried SS rear springs but didn't like them.
Now they are Colbalt TC springs.
That's what I'm driving

Never been an SS type. Back in 2009, I chose what I felt was best for me, my 2008 Panel 2LT, (one of only 266) which incidentally is still my fav & still current ride.

basically what i did with my 2.4 Panel, the Eibach sport spring kit and the KYB's all around. Handles and rides great and i gotta say that 2.4 is surprisingly peppy. Hey how do i know if mine is an LT or LS? What are the differences between the two trim levels? just curious really as ive never looked into it.

You can look at the inside of the glovebox door see if there’s the RPO sticker you can see if it’s an LS or 1LT or 2LT

Should be a chrome LS or LT emblem on the back hatch. If it's not there, then look at your RPO code sticker in the glovebox. It will list what trim level you have.
(most all of the basic LS models had the 2.2 engine)

That’s the side window sticker , the glove box sticker will be stuck to the glove box door.
