I believe
FLT is the fleet processing option and 1LT is the trim level

It's a 1LT. The FLT means it was a rental or fleet vehicle.

EDIT: Too slow again!

Yes my 2LT was a fleet rental for Hertz and it has the FLT RPO code but it’s definitely not a panel.

that makes sense, when i got it it had the remnants of a logo on both sides. Was used for computer service like the geek squad but an independent. Seemed to have been well maintained.

glassdave- Pecking order is as follows:
LS = base
1LT
2LT = most optioned up w/FE3 suspension,
SS
Your lower right of yer glove box tag shows 1LT & FE1 suspension, But LE5 engine, you should have a 2.4L, same engine as my 2LT has.

I didn’t know you could put mud flaps on the front with the running boards. I had a plain vanilla 2008 with no running boards and always intended to get the nice custom fit flaps, never did it. I always assume they were dealer installed or dealer order and never came factory installed.

I always wondered if the FE5 torsion beam was stiffer than non-SS, and even if the FE1 and FE3 were the same. I can see the popularity of the TTR sway bar, because OEM’s like to build understeer into their cars, but I always hated the idea of adding unnecessary weight to the car, especially unsprung weight. I don’t like big tires for the sake of looks for the same reason.

My ideal non SS could go a couple of ways. My plain vanilla (even painted white) 2008 LS I loved for its pure functional simplicity. The 2.2L didn’t have the complication of VVT yet. Its ONLY option was the electric driver seat, and had I ordered the car, it wouldn’t have had that. The only upgrade would have been the Pioneer Premium speakers. The ebony interior ages best.

The other direction for me would be an AA5 2LT with racks and boards and heated seats in Crystal Claret Tintcoat, hopefully possible without the headroom-robbing sunroof.

The mudflats were factory provided and dealer installed.
