E10 fuel is ubiquitous these days and has enough ethanol to soak up a whole lot of incidental water. That’s why you haven’t heard much about “fuel line freeze-up,” and products to prevent it, in decades.

Old habits die hard and I still avoid filling up when I see a tanker but modern stations all have pretty good filters, so if I really need fuel I don’t worry too much.
