Why is it that every picture I have seen of a billett grille all the ribs are crooked on the ends, has anyone taken the time to straighten them out, I had one on a Matrix a few years ago and it was straight. The HHR was a week old and just made a trip from N.C. to N.Y. and back purred like a kitten and gas mileage was great.

 

I may be wrong, but, I believe they are that way to conform to the opening where the grill goes. If there were fewer bars then they'd be straight, like the Carriage Works grill.
