Body control module issues

2006 HHR 2.2 just replaced body control module and ignition switch car continues to run for 30 seconds after I turn off the key and drains the battery

This tells me something is loose or not firmly connected
check the bolt in the middle of the BCM

Sounds to me like somebody spliced the wrong wires. Did anybody do ANY work on the car just before this started?

And who and why did the BCM have to be replaced? Has the new one been vin matched to your HHR?
