Bra/1st trip update
Drove from Pasadena to San Jose area, just under 400 miles each way. Had the seats folded and the entire back loaded, I'd guess about 300-lbs of stuff.
Went up on the 101, back via 152 and 5 (boring). Got 26.1 & 26.4 for each leg. Took it easy, 70-75, just had fun playing with all the knobs and buttons! Stopped in Buellton to check the fit on the bra and all seemed fine. Was still snug and attached and I could not hear any flapping.
So, 800 miles on the bra and only one little fit issue that can be fixed easy. Took it off and no immediate signs of any rubbing or paint damage. Best of all, I wasn't cringing each time you could hear that road debri coming at you. I'd recommend this bra if you want to protect the front of your baby.

Looks like you share two of the same loves as I do - HHR's and radio control cars. I have raced R/C cars for over half of my life (35 this summer and started when I was 16). I have raced almost everything and even tried one of the 1/5 scale like you have in the back of your HHR. For the last few years I have been racing micro cars 1/18th scale (cheaper on the pocket book).
I don't have my HHR yet. I have been admiring them for the last year. I am eager to place my factory order this September for a new 2007 Imperial Blue LT.
I will be sure to post pics of my car (HHR and micro car) once I have them both in my driveway. Although my trunk won't be as full as yours is with your cars. Looking good!!

No drilling, the two parts attach with coated hooks and plastic U-shaped pieces. It was a bit of a wresteling match to install, but the fit is very snug when completed. A lower grill may be a problem, but I haven't put on in yet. A vendor on this site sells them.

DUDE! I think I saw you buzz right buy me in my bright silver hhr, on 101 right before the 880 northbound exit. We had our Doberman Pincher in the back. My wife has had me looking hi and low for that full front bra you had where did you get it?

Yikes! Small world...I do remember that because I was playing count the HHRs on the trip to pass the time, you were only number four, not many for a 400 mile trip. Glad you were silver and not black and white! I didn't think I was going that fast. The bra is a Colgan Custom. You can find them on the net or you can get one from SoCalHHR...he stocks them. You can get one with an opening for the front plate or pay twenty bucks more for one without the opening, which I have. Worth the price, I think.
