Amen! I’ve always built cars for no apparent reason, if it was an off brand car, the better , I did a 35 Buick coupe , chopped the roof put in a small block Ford engine and a bench seat, at that time my friends all had 32 Fords or 37 Chevys . But I had fun and didn’t spend 1/2 the money.

 

There's a crashed-up panel in the local Pull-A-Part that possibly has many of the interior pieces you'd be looking for.
Exterior is a mess though. Looks like it was picked up with a wrecker's claw (right across the panel blank-out areas) !

They send the cars to a crusher all-to-often though (cars rarely stick around beyond six-months).
