Car finally arrived this evening

My 08 HHR finally got here this evening. For those that didn't see my intro post, I bought my Dad's '08 LS from my Mom. He passed away in January and she was having difficulty with selling it. This way was easier for her since it stayed in the family.

Anyway, I got it moved through my relocation package from WV to TX. Took 14 days but at least I didn't have to pay anything. I'll get it cleaned up in the next couple of days and post some pics. It's black and got kind of dirty on the truck on the way down.

Sorry about losing your dad, Nitro -- never easy, i know -- but at least you have something he enjoyed having.

And yes, we like pix!

Glad to hear about your new arrival, and I'm sure your Dad would be happy to know it stayed in the family. I case I missed it, who did you use to do the transport?

It was shipped as part of my relocation to Texas. Armstrong Logistics, part of United Van Lines, moved it for me. It was on a standard car hauler but I was satisfied with the job they did.

I need to get it cleaned up this weekend. It's pretty dirty on the outside from the trip down. The inside needs a little cleaning as well. Hopefully tomorrow if this stuffy head thing is only my allegeries and not a stinking cold.
