I have one in my garage...

The guy who bought my HHR wanted the back seat rather then the box.

The cargo box fits inplace of the rear seat and uses the same hardware so you swop it in and out as needed.

I was going to put it up for sale for about $200.-150.
Huh ? Not really what the OP was asking about. Besides that, it's not just an easy swap in and out like you state.
Plus, you already have the bin listed for $100 in the want ads. Why say $200-150 ?
That post really should be removed from this thread.

Hmmm I didn’t realize I posted here a while back.

I increased the price after finding out just how much it would cost to ship...

Still $100. for local pick up

Thanks

I wasn’t aware of that I was told it would fit any HHR...

maybe I should just throw it out, I need the space it’s occupying.

Thanks

thanks for the ideas everyone, I think I'm just gonna google around and maybe see if I can find something similar to the one I have in my car's trunk that I can strap down somehow, maybe against the LH wall
in a perfect world I'd rather have a full-size spare too, which would change how much room I have under the floor panel
I do plan on getting the all-weather cargo mat, which would help with some sliding, but I still want to keep my emergency kit

There is a section in the Owner Manual that illustrates how to use the on-board equipment for cargo. Note there are hooks on the bottom of the panel for hanging bags with handles. There are also several ti down loops in the cargo area for securing cargo in various configurations. There is another position for the panel; place the forward legs in the lower holes and the aft legs in the upper holes.

It will bolt in place of the seat, but you'll never get the doors closed...

Agreed one must change the door panels to panel versions when adding the storage box...
