I talked to the shop manager and they will be taking a look at my issues tomorrow. I asked him point blank about getting a replacement car and he said unless the car poses a safety hazard then nothing can be done. I went to my salesperson and told him that and he suggested that I call the customer relations number. Which I will tomorrow, while the car is in the shop.

That's BS. Call Paul Morrison's office and ask for consumer protection. They have a procedure for filing CR complaints but they'll get an AAG with you as soon as YOU get the ball rolling. The dealer's stalling you, as usual, and if it's one in KC they'll stonewall you forever.

I will be dropping off the car tomorrow morning. In the meantime, unless work gets involved, I will call GM and get some answers as well as call the BBB and the AGO and see what my options are. When I get my car back, I will tell them all I found out and that they will be hearing from the above soon. Time to play hardball. And yes, I stayed away from the one in KC, it was obvious that they were jerks.

Update: The car is in the shop and I have contacted Chevrolet and expressed my concerns. My car is not elgibile for GM buyback at this time, since the dealer cannot duplicate many of my issues. When I get the car back, I will express to them that I will be contacting the Attorney General and issuing a complaint.
