Changes or Additions to 2008 Model
Was talking to our salesman last week, and he also said that there were a lot of Sunburst Orange Metallic HHRs around.
The way he said it made me think that SOM was the next one to go the same route of DBM. I like having a year one HHR with a year one only colour.

We'd sure like to see them come out with some fun colors. Just look around, and all you see in car colors these days are neutral colors? Okay, so we're the one's with the Silver Streak (the light color silver), but in our heart of hearts, we really wanted a Sunburst Orange, not our fault they couldn't find one in stick out here.
Mine is a fun color and gets lots of people looking. Glad they stopped making it so that it is not over used
You might very well be right. Went to Target down the street and parked next to a silver one like ours..........went on up the street to Mervyn's and parked next to an orange one..........came out and started pulling out and was greeted by a silver one! See black here and there but not often, and once in awhile might see blue or red, or white, but not very often at all.
White would have worked for us being that we're Snoopy fans, they told us they had one, but then couldn't find it. Looking at the engine of a Genesis, and being that we're train buffs, I'm thinking it might be fun to paint the front end like the front end of a Genesis, but then again, someone not happy with Amtrak might kick it.

Sunburst is a fun color a lot of people go for and I think Silver is popular because A) It is a color that will always be in style and B) It is the easiest color to hide dirt and stay clean
Silver always looks sharp

Well it looks like Victory Red isn't such a special HHR color any more. I bet they do that to all the special edition colors at some point. At least there are features other than the color to identify the spring edition.
