I am looking at a 2008, after our 2006 was damaged by a deer (see gallery). What kind of gas milage are the '08s getting with the 2.4 engine. I noticed that Chevy had replaced the big heavy rock protection on the '06 with a thin sheet of plastic. Is this working? Thanks for the info.

 

The DIC on mine says 29.4, mostly city driving. I have running boards so I'm not sure about your second question.

 

gas milleage will be the same figure out they have the same engine as for your 2nd question i can't really help i have running board too

 

My '08 panel has been getting me as much a 35 MPG hwy(120 mile trip with cruz on set at 70 mph). 2.4 w/5spd on reg.gas. 2500 miles so far and I'm getting over 27 mpg average over a week mixed with hwy/rush hour/city driving in L.A.
