Chevrolet HHR reliability - how does it compare?
2006 LT 2.2 I have nothing but great things to say about my HHR (Harvey) I change the oil every 3 - 4000 miles, I have 89000 plus on it and still have the same breaks, I am surprised about that but the mechs keep telling me there ok. It needs shocks but thats about all. It has been a great little car.

cDear jerSSey HHR,
I have read your post about the 2006 HHR LT with 82,000 miles on it. Are you thinking about purchasing this vehicle from a dealership or a private individual? Either way, if you are purchasing this vehicle from a dealership you can request to view the service history records. If you are going to be buying this from a private individual, you can request to see their receipts of the maintenance and repairs that they have put into the vehicle.

Dear jerSSey HHR,
Thank you for the additional information. Have you asked the dealership if they are able to obtain service history information for this vehicle? This would allow you to see the maintenance and repairs that have been made on the vehicle if the dealership has access to this information. Just food for thought. I would think that you would be able to go to your local Chevrolet dealership to inquire about service history of the vehicle, but I believe that you would have to be the owner of the vehicle.
I am sure that there will be other owners on the forum that will share their experience with their HHR.
Sincerely,
Michelle, Chevrolet Customer Service
