Chevy HHR 2006, Key Cannot Be Removed, Stuck On

To get the key out ,look under the steering column and remove the little pop out cover . In there you will see a white button or pin , at the end of a switch that is laying on its side. Push the pin- button in and this will let the key turn and be removed.

Okay.... is there a problem or question here? This is in the owner manual.

I've deleted your duplicate post. And I'll move this out of the SS specific forum, there were no SS in 2006.

Why are you quoting the Owner Manual?

Of course, the situation might be covered by one of the extended warranties or recalls. Or, just needs a battery.
