Clunking hhr

I have read some feeds on hhr clunking. I had the same problem. Finally, I think I found the problem. Loc nuts(supposedly loc nuts) were back off just a tad and causing a clunking. I changed sway bay kit and bushing. Clunking stopped. 5 miles down the road clunking was back. Took tires off and checked link and bottom nut had backed off about 1/16 of an inch. So, I torque all nuts and placed another not behind each one(double butted). All clunking gone. It's been about a month now, still quiet. THANK U JESUS. HOPE I HELPED SOMEONE THAT's HAVING THAT PROBLEM. CHEVY DEALERS CAN't seem to find that problem.

If you want to have any expectation of privacy please scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Contact Us" a form will pop up with an option to change your user name.

Also please click on "User CP" and change your location. Now every pervert in the world knows your email and home address and can find out everything about you.

At least, you left out your zip code and phone number.

Kind of strange that you say you are the one that left the nut loose, yet the Chevy dealer couldn't find it before.

It was a worn out sway bar end link

Welcome to the site, I sent you directions to get your user name changed.
Either lock washers or Loctite, ensure you torque those nuts correctly at 59 ft lbs.
