Computer learning?
I think that I heard somewhere that the 'brain' in our cars actually 'learns' our driving habits. Can this really be true?
So, if I drive like an old lady, will my car not respond well when I really 'get on it'? (I do some of each.)

Ive wondered this also as some here have occasionally 'reset' the ECM by removing the fuses and allowing the brain to start over. I have done this also because it was feeling slow, it worked.
I have wondered about this also.
I noticed even when I shut the A/C & heat fan all the way off. The vent that I hang the air freshner over, always keeps blowing.
Not sure what the HHR is trying to tell me.

Doubtful that the car's computer learns anything.. I suspect that the fan just goes to a real slow speed even when turned off. If I set the AC to recirculate and the fan to off, it still blows AC cold air.
If you set the recirc to on or defrost the A/C turns on, but the A/C light does not light up. If the A/C is on in the recirc mode the fan is running for health reasons. If you set the fresh air on there will be an air flow while the car is moving but the A/C will not run if the fan is turned off.
