Hi Guys we are in summer!! well close but the weather is perfect for doing maintenance and others change in our cars, so now I would like to convert modify my HHR to a pickup or like that , just cutting the rear part from the roof and bot side, so here in this picture is what I wish, so somebody can give an idea?, tools and if I cut the roof what problem can I face into my car... is just a project!!.

Welcome, it can be done, careful measure measurements, remove the headliner, interior plastic panels, wiring to the third brake light, rear washer hose and wiring to the rear wiper, then measure again, ask yourself, if you are sure you want to do this? Then figure out how to keep water out of the spare tire and battery well.
The tools to cut the body can be a cut off wheel, or a sawzall. You will have to fabricate hinges for the tail gate or just weld it shut.

 

Will work better as a two-door two-seater.

 

Or move the quarter windows forward

 

Options are endless. Been a few done here, by members.

 

i have one iv been building slowly its gone be a single cab extra long bed , as i wanted the long flat bed like a vw single cab truck , will post pics when it looks like something more then parts LOL,,,, good luck with your build ,,,,
