One of the reasons I decided on the HHR..my Matrix had great front protection but only 3 stars on the side impact. I think I remember seeing a video of a police chase in Florida of a stolen HHR and the bad guys T-boned another car in an intersection going pretty fast and it held up great.

Watch these vids on P/U trucks and you will be amazed at how bad the protection is for something that big...at least a couple of years ago....the cab of a Dodge Ram or a 150 just buckled wide open sending the dummy falling out the side

Yeah, it does hold up well. But it still hurts every time I see it.
