First off Mark THANKS for you willingness to help those afflicted people here who are not happy with just the month and year of manu, but want to delve deeper into the day even. I wrecked my truck a few weeks ago and was put into a HHR as a rental. I FELL IN LOVE. I researched the car on the net and found several places with a wealth of information and gathering of what I can only compare to as a classic "cult" type following. That made me even hotter for a HHR to call my own. After much thought I decided I would like to become a part of such a great group of kooooks. I even wanted to find a pristine 1st yr model. (You know a 1st year model will be worth ODLES when the rest of the world finally realizes that the HHR is THE CAR) After looking and evaluating many I became the proud owner (parent, guardian and fluids keeper) of a beautfully maintained 06 2LT. Okay now could you possibly tell me the day and TIME of the birth of my baby? :) last 6 of VIN#609576

Hi Stan. WELCOME to the club!!!!! Your HHR was built on 1/31/06. As for the time? Great choice of color too! You could be here on this site for days just reading all the posts about our HHR's. Don't forget, we NEED pictures! I have an 06, currently with 43,000 miles on her and still lovin it! Questions?... don't hesitate to ask.

I have one of the 07 Premiere Edition. I had a 03 Vibe before this HHR and for some strange reason I HAVE TO keep the HHR clean. I cleaned this HHR more times in the last 8 months, than I did with the Vibe in 4 years. I use to have a Corvette decades ago, and I have this HHR on the same level as the Corvette.

I also was wondering what date that my HHR was made. My Vin number is 619859. Thanks in advance.

Ron

I was just kidding about the time :) Thanks for the birthdate, Thank goodness Mexico celibrates their New Year in May I think!!! I will try to find a suitable background to take a few pics as soon as possible. I am an IT person for H&R Block offices and it's kinda my busiest time of year right NOW! I notice your car is real simular. 22,640 miles on her, and pretty sure she has every thing they offered. Were still honeymoonin :) My wife isn't happy

Actually, they do document the time scan when they use certain components of the vehicle, such as the engine, transmission, axle assembly, body .....etc. The times are close to each other, so maybe as it goes down the assembly line, they scan them...???
