Gotta say, this alone makes joining this forum worth it.

 

Along this line,here at work we've had a couple of body shops ordering crash parts for 2008 HHRs.When we enter the VIN into the decoder in the parts catalog,GM bounces them back saying that the VINs aren't in the database-but they ARE in VIS in G.M. Dealerworld.

 

It's a problem with GM's software supplied for the parts catalogs. It can be a real hassel at times. You would think by now they could of fixed it.
