Now, one more question for the VIN guru (or anyone else who may know). When I got my HHR, the salesman tossed out the original window sticker, and we requested a new copy which the dealership said would be no problem to order. It's been almost 2 months and several phone calls and still nothing. Is it really that hard to get a copy?

You are welcome. As for the window sticker, the dealer should be able to get you a new one, but I don't know how long it actually takes. 2 months sounds like a long time, I think it should only be a matter of days.

 

I am new to this forum and have been reading this thread. I just picked up my new HHR yesterday. I see that you have found the assembly dates for ALOT of people here. Would it be possible to do one more??? My VIN # is .....708478. Thanks in advance!!

My dealer told me my build date was sometime last week, but will not elaborate. My sequence # is 504602

 

Build date is 7/21/08.
