Daylight Savings Time and Premium Sound

Hey Y'all, with the DST switch fast approaching and the need to patch computers, PDA's smart phones etc. I was wondering if anyone knew if GM had a patch or a fix for the premium stereos in the HHR. If I'm not mistaken the radio is programmed to adjust for DST.

Anyone talked to a service department about this yet?

I'm just going to plan to change all my clocks manually. Then again when is was originally going to happen.

Cool

I think it was originally the first Sunday in April, now the second Sunday in March...
so 3 weeks earlier than usual.

I'm heading to the dealer for an oil change on Monday. If the time doesn't change automatically, I'll be sure to ask them.

I wonder if the radio's already programmed to do it. The DST change has been coming for a few years now, and the radios have the date function built in, so maybe...we'll find out Sunday!

I dunno....

the radio software would need to know if you are in a state or area that does NOT utilize DST. ..i.e. Arizona does not...I know, I know we're oddballs.

GM probably saw the cost of a few cents as to much for that programming.

I went to my trusty owners manual (on cd), and I found nothing indicating the clock would automatically change for dst.
I`ve had mine/ours through 2-3 of these changes, and you just go to clock, push a couple buttons, go on with life...
I wouldn`t want to pay $100.00-$200.00 for an extra feature like that. I want memory seats/mirrors/settings.

I went to the dealer for service and asked if the clock would automatically reset on XM radios and was told no. They did manually reset it for me. It took about 10 seconds.
