Did you buy the extended service contract?

Yet another newbie question...

Did you buy the extended service contract? If so how long was it for and if you don't mind sharing how much was the cost. We are dealing on a 2007
HHR and feel like we got a good price on the car but now are trying to decide about the extended service contract. Thanks!

You can wheel and deal with the service contract. GMPP is the best company to go with for your Chevrolet.

Yes and probably too much.
Something about the word "Extended" that just doesn`t translate well here in America.
How about saying, 'Fuller' ( not sure if that`s a word ) coverage for a longer period...
Extended should mean, after the original time, like extended play, or extended time on the spray at a car wash, but evidently the way "Extended" warrantees work, is they are just additional coverage which start on the day you buy it, and the original coverage is sorta 'just there..'
In other words, we`re being "RIPPED OFF"!!!!!

NO! A bad job can actually trap salt and water and encourage rust. See link from Car Talk
