Dirty Bird

This is one dirty bird I named him HHRobin. I thought it was cute that he landed on my mirror and hung out on my HHR. So I took this picture. Unfortunately, He CRAPPED all over the mirror and then jumped to the window and CRAPPED all over it too. He must really Love/Hate (not sure) Chevys cuz he also does it to my Wife's Impala. I can't get rid of him. Anyone ever had a persistant bird like this? Because it is a Robin, I thought about sending Batman a message to see if he could help.

I've got the same thing..... maybe they are related. Mine was fighting his reflection in the doors and actually was scratching the paint. Now that we are having rain everyday the car's dirty so he just hangs out. Creep!

Well don't do it around the car. Wait for him to fly to a branch or something.

Get some tinfoil and wrap a couple of strips around your antenna, the motion and the noise will scare the bird away, at least it usually scares them away. Once they realize its not a friendly and quiet place to hang around, you'll have an HHR back instead of a bird house.

Considering how hard it is to get a tight grouping with an AK, you may wish to check your insurance policy coverage limits for "stray rounds".

It's due to it being their "nesting time", and they're protecting the nest.

Got one here that keeps attacking the windows in the garage door.
Not sure if it's the only one responsable for it, but both the HHR and my Subaru BRAT have bird poo all over the mirrors and doors. I've seen one pecking away at the sun roofs of both of them also.
