anyone else got a pic of silverstars... maybe while you were half way threw installing.. a pic of silverstar on one side and oem on other ?!

Wow! $40 to install them. Took me 15 min. I would do it for $20.

I got the fender lining off, but I couldn't reach up there to get to the bulb.... they had to remove the tire to get to it

Have had Silverstars in my HHR for over a year now,no complaints. When they burn out I'll go to the Siliversrar ultras. Just be careful to clean glass with alcohol and not touch the glass. I used to work on audio/visual equipment and installed a lot of bulbs in projectors. This method always worked,any oils from your hands is what causes the bulbs to burn out.

If your looking for color match and don't care about the light levels then go for the blue lights.
If you looking for brighter lights.... I am running Philips Xtreme power bulbs and they are the brightest DOT bulbs I could find other than maybe PIAA. Philips cost a lot less than PIAAs.

I just had both silverstar fog light bulbs go out on the wifes MPV. They were installed back in 2004...

Damn they went out withn 24 hrs of each other....

thanks HHorange!! ill look into these.. i want brighter than oem.. and i dont think silverstars really do that .. and they dont make silverstar ultra in h13.. soo ya
