DIY $200 spray paint job

I gave my son my old HHR when he turned 16. It was pretty beat up. He's had an interest in paint and body, so we patched it up and decided to try something different and keep it cheap.

I would suggest you use more light to see well but overall a good job.

Funny you should mention that. Here's the same shop stall for the cat eye GMC we just did. I realized real quick that if this is something we want to get into, you've got to be able to see.

Like it and the quote "looks pretty good from 20 feet away.
And the level of sophistication is rising another positive. (ie better paint booth, suiting up) to go with the breathing mask and other safety concerns for our environment.

Better than most, hillbillies and rednecks would use a brush not spray bombs!
Well done. I believe you are exceeding the quality of a maaco job.
Painting anything better prep always results in a better result, I've discovered over the years.

I helped the guy light his shop. He said he wanted it bright like an operating room (or surgery as they say in the UK.) I had him paint his walls and ceiling bright white, and we put in a LOT of high CRI LEDs.
