Do I have remote start??

Hey, all. N00b here. I am trying to figure out if I have remote start or not. I understand all autos do except for rental hhrs which mine was. It is a 2007 LT silver. I have the four button fob (lock, unlock, panic and a circle arrow button which I would assume is the remote start button). However, the button does not do anything when I press it. Also, would the factory warranty still apply even if it was a rental? This has 21k miles and I think the front struts are shot.

Thoughts?

Thanks, Justin

yes you have remote start. Try this first, press the lock button then press and hold the start button on your remote. Should take a second and start right up

If you have the manual go to page 98 for instructions. If you don't then click on this thread link or copy and paste it
and then you can download the manual. The warrant still should be good.

If you ever forget, the instructions for "remote start" are on the back of the key fob.

From what I know, the answer is no. It is sort of a safety feature so the engine shuts off after 10 min and doesn't run forever in case you forgot you started it and then took off with a friend in their car.
