Do I have room?

Just wondering with the threads around here, does the HHR work with kids? More specifically babies? How about twins? I thought there was a guy that had a HHR but didn't have enough room for the twins, any thoughts on this?

I drive with two adults and two tots regularly and they love the Red Sled. Great for anything less than a two week road trip... :) Excursions though, it is perfect!

A very practical vehicle for twins. A must with a baby is a four door vehicle. I learned this right off the bat. It's too hard to have to work with a two door vehicle when putting them in the car seats. You also have lots of room for the huge bag of diapers, toys and bottles that you will need everywhere you go. Your wife and you will not have to be throwing a heavy liftgate up when you load the tons of shopping items you will be buying. So it is a great vehicle IMO for babies. If you have side impact airbags all the better too.

Is that you in your avatar when you were given the news that twins were coming?

I don't see why you would have any trouble putting small children in the back when I've had three adults in the back for a 2 hour drive. Plus a bunch of crap, stuff the mother-in-law was bringing in the back, while she crocheted on the drive. My 21 yr. old son and girlfriend ride in the back every weekend on the way to church.

I have actually gotten 3 car seats in the back seat for the grandkids! It was a tight fit but it worked. The kids still needing car seats are ages 6, 3, and 2years. Then we have another grandson that is 7 years. They LOVE their Neenaw's HHR. "It is WAY cooler than the other car",(a Honda Pilot). On Thursdays I pick them all up from either day care or school and we fit very well. No room for Pappy though!
