Do those gas savers work?
Do those gas savers work?
I'm talking about those pieces of shredder metal that you put in the throttle body to create a vortex and help your car breathe better. Does anyone have experience with these? Are they just a joke?
I saw a report on some news show (20/20 or something like that) that said there is no benefit to these at all and to save your money. But I dunno for sure. Check out this site for some additional information:http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/autos/gasave.htm
It is like Fruity Pebbles being part of this complete breakfast or diet pills that work with proper diet and exercise. There are other ways to increase your mpg. Like proper tire pressure. clean air filters, routine oil changes, not driving like a jackhole etc, etc.
