Unhappy Does anyone know what part could be leaking from this pic?

Hi guys, new here!! and I have had this 2008 chevy hhr for about 10 months. So far it needs new tires, it was leaking from the windshield in rain, the sunroof doesn't open all the way, the motor is dying in the drivers window, the coolant reservoir has a hole in the bottom of it and just recently my car overheats at about 5 or 6 miles. I have the tank to replace but I can't get it out of the car everyone said just pull it up and out but.. there is a lot in the way it hits on something at every angle. So that is just some history, this is leaking what looks like coolant but I don't know from where or why. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated! The picture is a bolt and junction (that idk) but it's leaking from whatever is above that. Towards the passenger side.

I'm sorry if the pictures are upside down.. when I click on them they are right side up so hopefully it's the same for you. It's also late at night so quality is not amazing.

Hi Allie, to the forums!!

I see one of the boots for the steering rack, and the sway bar and a bushing. I can't see any evidence of a leak.

Maybe you could open the pic on your computer with paint or other editing software, and circle where you are seeing something.

Its from your AC system. Its normal. They crerate condensation and the water drips from above. Mine drips on the exact same bolt. This is the passenger side of the car right?

It probably is not the washer tank leaking, but the pump. The pump is just a friction fit the top just pops out toward the engine then pull up out of the grommet.

Here is a really bad drawing of the tank, but you can see the 3 bolt holes. That is all that holds it; they do bind on the studs. You just need to force it.

Hey Don. The OP said coolant tank leaking, not washer fluid tank. I think you may have forgot your glasses again.

oops, I thought I looked twice!

The coolant recovery tank has 2 bolts at the top the bottom has a "bayonet" molden into it that goes into the "sheath" in the sheet metal.

Here is a picture.
