Solman is correct, the last I heard. Ramos is a 7 day operation. So Monday, Friday, or Mothers Day, it doen't matter.

Aven....are you asking what the plant assembles on Monday, then what goes on the car Tuesday, then Wednesday, etc. etc.???? If that's the case, that is not how the assembly line works. It's essentially a continuous moving (although slowly and with periodic stops) conveyor....with a vehicle complete every 60-75 hours. The only question is the paint. Some believe, because of limited capacities, specific paint colors are completed in groups....a batch of silver, a batch of blue, etc. Haven't found out if this is true.

My Dad works in paint. They do batches then a system purge, but they also have multiple paint lines and ovens so they CAN run different colors down the line at once now. Keep in mind that the Ramos plant also produces other cars besides the HHR, so it could have been a batch of red HHRs plus red Amigos or whatever else they build down there.

I think it would be interesting to see if a car completed on a certain day of the week has more problems than one completed on a different day for example my HHR was built on a completed on a Friday and the only problem I've had so far is a running board rubber coming up problem and I'm not sure the running boards are made in the same plant. In theory it shouldn't make any difference what day of the week, but we might be suprised. Whatya say may be people could list there problems and the day of the week their HHR was built.

Are you sure about this ? I looked at about 4 dozen build dates on this thread https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/general-hhr-4/date-manufacture-4220/ and didn't find a single one built on a Saturday or Sunday
