I got an 06 HHR. Is the dash light dimmer switch also supposed to turn the rear dome light? Also, anybody ever added a second dome light in the front?

 

Dimmer switch - nope.

There are also several postings about turning the rear cargo light around 180 deg for more light forward.

I have done the " 180 Dome Light Spin" on my '08 Panel, at least 5 + yrs ago now..
Actually forgot about doing it till this post reminded me. It gave me all the lighting I need.

But pretty easy to add another dome light if required for your needs.
