The only difference might be that the LT1 radio will play MP3 files that are burned onto a CD, so it'd look the exact same as the LS radio (the only holes would be the standard CD slot and the "tiny iPod jack").

dbarberaz, I was trying to order an 07. Yes, it would let you get white, but only if you added the bright chrome trim option. Is you LT an '07? If so, would you post a pic of the radio, if it's the standard one. I am still going to get the thing, I just want to wait until I see a couple of '07's.

Put a IMCO turbo T-924 on that 2.2 cobalt and you will like the sound and the performance even better. we gave a 2.2 cobalt to our daughter and she loves it and the muffler made it sound better and even faster on pick up

trust me.

No mine is an 06. But if I was a betting guy I would say they use the same radio in both years. I may take a ride to a dealer today and look an at 07. If I do I will see if I can snap a photo.

Crimeny, I really like this Cobalt. When I finally get the HHR I might even keep the Cobalt too. My insurance company said the increase would only be $80 a year IF I declare that my total mileage on both would be the same as it was on just one and no other driver on either car. I got to see a white '06 with bright chrome and it looks good. So, now I only have to wait and see the 07 radio and wheels and I will be ready to reinstate the order.
