door lock pins

Not sure if thats what their called. I mean the pin at top of door panel used to manually unlock and lock door. Does anyone make shorter replacements with maybe a "hat" on top? I hit my arm on the factory one when I out my arm up and out to pay a toll and if I make the mistake of resting my arm on the top of it I get a puncture in my arm. It could also be a little shorter. I know some people have cut the stock one shorter but id rather have a different one thats a little shorter with a wider top. 😁

Fabricate and improvise, many have posted in the mod section.
The help section at parts stores have different knobs.
I cut the linkage rod and drilled out the stock knob so it goes down further almost flush with the door panel.

Yep that sounds like the ticket. Ill have to be careful I leave enough sticking up to unlock the door manually in case if of power lock failure. By the way how does the pin cone off?

They unscrew. Any parts store has them, especially Pep Boys.
