On the passenger side, does the lock button (by the handle) light up with the interior lights?

It looks like it should, my driver side lights up, but the passenger side does not. Thought I'd ask before pulling the panel off...

Not sure on a 06 but the window and lock buttons light up on a 08 SS.

 

Not sure if they should, but mine doesn't either. i've removed the door panels so many times, i may have broke mine though. I never use it, so i don't even know if it works...

 

On my 09, the door lock buttons ARE illuminated on both the driver and passenger side doors.

 

On my '08 LS, none of the lock or window switches are illuminated

 

I suspect the change may be with the new door panels. Since the window swithces are on the doors and not the console I suspect they changed to lighted in the 08 SS and all 09 and later HHR's.
