To see a list of vehicles Chevy has that use E85 go to chevy.com and look at fuel solutions. The HHR is not one of them.

I mix mine 50/50 all the time.......50% E85 and 50% 93 octane.....I do this especially when I'm using the Nitrous because it raises the Octane rating to around 100......To me it actually runs better, and is more responsive, but gets ****ty mileage......I've got almost 40K miles and have done this many many times....but like always...I'm willing to F@#k my car up so you don't have too....lol...

Here is my favorite link about E85 ......

Or they make a few kits that are supposed to convert to E85....

I was wondering about running a high octane through. I ran across a 104 octane racing fuel the other day and thought it would be sweet to run a tank of that and have all the pep. Decided against it though, better judgement ruded.
