sounds like you could use a owners manual click this link https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/show...t=owner+manual

to compare mpg of gas vs e-85 look at this link http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/Power...WD&srchtyp=ymm

Yellow cap and a Flex Fuel emblem on the back lower right side of the hatch.

Don't feel bad you should have seen me trying yo figuer out how to open the gas door the first day we bought my wife's 09 HHR. Here I am finally sitting at the gas pump going through the owners manuel trying to find the info. Imagine how I felt when all I had to do was push. I had a good laugh.

Opening the gas cap can be a challenge. I have a few Pontiac Fieros and there is a small handle on the driver's side "B" pillar which will pop the gas cap door. Quite hidden to the uinformed. After driving the Fiero for a while, then jumping into my non Fiero driver, I instinctively reach over to pop the gas door, which is not there when I stop for gas.

At first I worried some about the gas cap being so easy accessible. But after 3 years of ownership I have had no bad experiences.
