Depends on engine and ambient temperature as to if and how long it runs after engine shut off.

Ya someone posted some info a little while back as far as when it should turn on and how long it will stay on after shut off when hot.
I believe if you check the temp if it is running after you shut it off it will be at least 210?
Also not positive but I have been told by CED that with the GMTU the fans will come on at an earlier temp.
How hot has your car been running?

Just noticed you are in Ohio probably been getting the extremely hot temps we are seeing in NY?

Also Redline Water Wetter works wonders in my old cars especially with straight water.
Does anyone know how the water wetter reacts or works with the Gm Dexcool.
Some have told me that the dexcool already has an additive in it somewhat like Water wetter but I doubt that.

Several threads on this. The most recent reveals mixed results. Most people see MAYBE 2-3 degrees different. Some see none at all. A few state a very skeptical miraculous intervention.

My participation in tests with GM displayed NO worth to the product when used with DexCool. If you notice on the bottle, Watter Wetter states very limited results when mixed with antifreeze in amounts that are recommended by auto manufacturers.

That's what I figured Snoopy. Thanks for the input
With straight water I notice dramatic differences in the old cars
With the old antifreeze 50/50 I notice maybe 5-10 degrees and that is it.
