Hey Chris, I use Turtle Wax Ice, which I LOVE...

and I will soon be using the paste version as well since I just found out it is available...
I only use microfiber towels, etc on my paint, wheels and everything else, as I feel it leaves the paint free of the scratches that some towels/applicators leave behind. I use an applicator that looks just like this:

you can buy them at most auto stores or wal-mart. I also use the blue microfiber towels you can find in the automotive department at most wal-mart stores, they are under $7 each...I LOVE THESE TOWELS! They are so soft and machine washable, they are great for the paint...I couldn't live without these towels!!!
EVERYONE SHOULD GET ONE, YOU WON'T BE SORRY, & YOU'LL NEVER CLEAN YOUR RIDE WITH ANOTHER TOWEL AGAIN!!!

Any difference between the blue microfibre towels and the yellow ones?

Costco has a pack of the yellow ones for a good price, just not sure if they would be appropriate for detailing. With a blue HHR, it would really show if I bugger it up

I got the bag of orange ones @ Sam's Club. 25 of them for $11.00. They worked great.

I've been wondering how I could keep Gomez looking good. I've been taking him to the car wash every week. LOL O'Connor (my dealer) gives free car washes but they don't do a good enough job.

I rather pay for it or wash it myself. Thanks for the great info on waxing. I shall buy some this week.

WELCOME!!!!!!!!!

I got the Paste and the liquid today at autozone for 16 and 14. It came with an aplicator and a microfiber towel for removal of the wax. I also bought a drying cloth from Meguiars heres the product in the link, worked pretty good but left alot of water on the car through the drying process, it required an excessive amount of wringing out. I liked the towel though and i think it will just take some getting used to.
