Well….friend of mine who owns a muffler/exhaust shop suggested since car had so many miles on it, to just buy section from manifold back to resonator I guess…to the 2 bolt flange anyway. So, dont no how good it will be but I bought a stainless one with the cat all welded and ready to bolt on for about 100.00 US.

Don't give up the OEM cat if you don't have to. The replacement will either cost a lot or die young.

Is 10.5 ft.lbs. enough torque on those exhaust manifold studs?

Both times I went after the exhaust manifold, there were loose bolts. I think the spec is a bit low.
