That part number may work, it comes back to a fob common to.....

2006 - 2007 Buick Terraza
2008 - 2010 Chevrolet HHR
2006 - 2008 Chevrolet Uplander
2006 - 2009 Pontiac Montana SV6
2006 - 2007 Saturn Relay



If your 2008 LS panel has the AP3 remote start option, it will not work for your vehicle.

If I had to guess, he needs fobs for his HHR Panel, but it seems he's very much into verbal economy.

he just needs to call the dealer, give the last 7 of his VI
N and get a part number for the FOB from them

Even without AP3 the RS fob will work (and vicey-versey), the contacts are all on the PCB. RS button just combines LOCK+PANIC.
